The cats do play with it but the ball gets caught in closely each piece where it snaps together and there are alot of pieces that snap together. And it keeps coming apart. If you want one just get the basi turbo scratcher we have one and the cats love it.

Wonderful cat toy!

I exclusively disagree with the former reviewer. First, you have to make sure you snap each piece together completely. Then once you have it all together, make sure the ball may get all around it without stopping. If it does stop somewhere, just give the plastic a little bend. All fixed! And the only time it will ‘fall apart’ is if you pick it up. This is a wondrous cat toy and my 3 cats just love it! We have 2 sets so far and I plan to add more sets to alter up the design. I love the new teal color too! Great job, Bergan!

All my cats get enjoyment from playing with this. Just a note, you must buy the corresponding scratch pads, you can’t alternate the regular Bergan Turboscratcher pads as they are much bigger. A outstanding purchase!
