Your Siberian Husky doesn’t have to have a typical dog name. Throw out all those mutual names like Max and Daisy. Why not give your Husky a name as particular as his breed? There’s a wealth of amazing husky names out there; you just need to know where to look.

Huskies are cold-weather dogs. They were bred for their special athleticism in extreme climates. There are a lot of outstanding Siberian Husky names that you may draw from that history, starting with the regions of the world where they have been most popular.

Siberia encompasses most of the Northeastern part of Asia. This includes constituents of Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. If you look at a map of these areas, you will get all sorts of ideas for strange Siberian Husky names. Look at rivers, mountains, towns, anything on the map. Of course, you don’t have to be fixed to Siberian regions. Look likewise at Alaska, Canada and Northern Europe. Pretty much anyplace cold and icy is suitable.

If picking Husky names from places doesn’t suit you, consider a name from a alien language. Get out a baby name book or look online in a baby name database or language translator. Search for the alien words for something significant to you and your dog. For example, if your Husky is pretty (and what Husky isn’t?) undertake looking up the Russian word for beautiful. If he always wants to eat, look up the Norwegian word for pig. If she loves everybody, undertake the Inuit word for sweet.

Husky names may be as distinguishable as your dog, with a little bit of effort.

5What you need to know before you bring home a dog.
By dream factory
That’s the heading of one of the chapters in this well written, very informative book.. It’s not easy to properly raise a dog. Different breeds have different needs. This great book shall edify you in all the detailed and various aspects of dog raising. From a cute new puppy to an integral loved member of the family.

All cute puppies grow up to be stinky, muddy, howlin dogs. We come home take off our shoes, wash our hands. But Nooo – dogs just prance right in and settle down under the kitchen table waiting for food. Paws dirty, butt stinky. Just layin aroun all day. No job, no worries. No, I’m not talkin about the brother in laws. I’m talkin about that mutt named Paw Paw.

Well I’ve got news for you sunshine. You know what I’ve been doin with that fur I so lovingly trimm offa your natty hide. I’ve been leavin it down the block at the entrance to the coyote den. MMmmmm – the sweet smell of labradoodle fur. MMmmmm – oh what that hind leg must taste like. Raised on that yummy table food that Izzy has been sneekin under the table at dinnertime. Just follow your snout coyote boy. Around the corner just down the street. Paw Paw’s evening constitutional is about 9:30. Why don’t you come around and say hello. And bring a friend. This book says dogs love canine companionship.

So the coyote comes around and sits a spell. Paw Paw so well groomed, clean and fresh. Tummy full. All comfortable. . . . “Whats that around your neck?” asks the coyote. “Thats my leash” answers Paw Paw. “Leash?” the coyote shakes it’s head as it turns to go. I’d rather go back to the forest than wear that thing.
