Works as said, perfect for annoying your cat

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RF1MRJQOLEADP Well, our cats didn’t grab it and drag it around, and it seems to have enough weight to keep them from doing this. So far they are into it, but thankfully there’s a spare feather rod because they attack it and chew on it like nobody’s business. The remote works fine and is a ‘start-stop’ toggle sort of thing, so don’t expect to control how the thing twitches. When active, the twitching seems almost random, and goes back and forth so the cord doesn’t stay wrapped up on itself for long. I have to admit, it seems like an intelligently designed device. You will need to go out and buy 3 AA batteries to put in the base, but the remote comes with its own ‘stumpy-style’ battery, thankfully.

Our female kitty just loves this toy. And, since all the toys belong to her, our big male cat doesn’t dare play with it. She has destroyed one feather and is working on the second one. She loves to stalk it, then slams it across the floor. Looking for replacement feathers.

Not quite as expected

You don’t have full control of the rod as you may think. You push on he remote and it just flutters randomly, and sometimes when you push it it doesn’t even spin at all. The base is too light, a small cat has no problem lifting up the whole thing. Not the best cat toy I ever bought..

Door Cat Toy

We had 3 cats, but in the past 6 months we’ve had to put 2 of our cats down and we recently put the 2nd one down. The 2nd one was a great playmate for our 3rd still living. Knowing that there was no other cat to play with I looked on-line and found the Spring String Cat Toy. This door cat toy is a blessing! I recommend it to anyone. It’s great!

Excellent for energetic kitty

Finally a toy that doesn’t bore my high-energy kitty. She flips over onto her back and whacks at it as well as jumps to catch it in her mouth. As another reviewer noted, it is important for the kitty to be able to actually catch and gnaw on the toy. She doesn’t care that the feathers came off after several weeks. As long as the string sustains enough elasticity for movement, she is very happy. Note-my cat is 3 years old and about 8 lbs.

Sometimes genius lies in simplicity

If you own a cat, then you know that if you buy a really fancy toy 90% of the time the cat won’t even touch it. Then they will go play with a random bag laying on the floor for 30 minutes. Sometimes genius lies in simplicity. That’s how I would classify Eddie Eraser. Yes it’s just what it looks like. A small chalkboard eraser with little felt ears and a string for a tail. Some cats love these things. It doesn’t take much for a cat to scoot them across hardwood floors. And the texture allows them to bite into them and throw them into the air or tear them up without harm. I buy about 6 a year, so it’s a proven winner.

My cats LOVE these!

I have four cats. Most of the time the only toy they will play with is one that I am making to move – string, feet, etc. But they absolutely LOVE these. I have no idea why. They send them flying thru the air by tossing them up with their mouths, bat them all over the house – and yes under the stove and dresser. They will carry them to me – crying to announce that they “caught the mouse”. It is a riot to watch. I’ve several of these and some of them are quite old but are still in excellent shape. They really hold up. Inexpensive too! Get the SmartCat Peek-a-Prize box and fill it with various small (safe) objects – the Eddie Erasers are the perfect size. One of my cats empty the “Prize box” every night. I quickly refill it in the morning. SmartCat is a great company with many items my cats love.

As the theme queen, all my friends who are turning 21 this year wanted me to give them a few ideas to make their birthday party stand out from everyone else’s. They wanted something unique, fun and unforgettable so here are a couple of ideas that I came up with.

THE BASICS

* Where

21st Birthday parties may be beauteous cheap exceptionally if you host it home in your back garden. If you do hire a hall or a club room, you will have to make sure there are toilets. If you do have it at home, include a big projector screening the last 21 years of your life in a mixture of movies and photos that will run without disruption through the night and remove anything you don’t wish to be damaged and lock doors that must be kept shut.

* Alcohol

It’s up to you whether you provide alcohol or it’s a BYO affair. If you have a bar at a club, make sure you have a tab limit which stops when you rich it or else you’ll be left with a nasty surprise the next day. If you’re in your backyard, fill huge tubs or coolers with ice to grant the alcohol to be held cold.

* Non-alcoholic

For those not drinking alcohol, for humans beneath aged or for people looking for something to mix with their alcohol, juices and soft drink are great and a fantastic substitute for when the tab runs dry. Buy cans of drink in bulk to keep out of the way of having a large total of plastic cups everyplace and fruit juices are beauteous cheap too.

* Food

If at home, have a BBQ with bread rolls and salads and a great deal of finger foods. Chips, pretzels and nuts are always a winner and try and stay clear from foods that require cutlery. If catering, finger foods that do the rounds are great and also means less clean up with no cutlery and paper plates.

THEMES

The Rubik’s Cube Party.

A Rubik’s Cube Party is a party where you have to dress up in dissimilar colours of the Rubik’s cube (red, white, yellow, green, blue, orange) and by midnight you have to have swapped with other humans until you’re dressed all in one colour. It’s rather funny seeing guys squeezing into girls’ shirts/skirts and every one swapping shoes to get the right colour resulting in a lot of confusion. It sorta goes without saying that you don’t wear your favourite shirt unless you don’t mind losing it. Award prizes at midnight for the best dressed/sexiest dressed/worst dressed etc and make sure you take a great deal of pictures!

The Masquerade Ball

Want to actually dress up? Then a Masquerade Ball is perfective where every one must wear evening attire (suits for the guys and dresses for the girls) with colourful masks. Hire a hall and embellish in one or two colours with a great deal of balloons and streamers and hire a DJ that will not only play the latest stuff but also something to waltz too. Give out prizes for not only the best mask but likewise the best dancer, best couple, worst dressed etc.

Alice in Wonderland

Take a trip back to your childhood and into the past with all your guests dressed up as Alice in Wonderland characters. Dress up as the Mad Hatter or the Cheshire Cat and hold the party in a room prettified as a Victorian Gin room with black and white photographs and “servants” that will serve drinks and finger foods.

Pirates vs Ninjas

Either dress as a pirate or a ninja and have a face off with water balloons (best done outside) and drink “ale” “grog” and “sake.” Decorate the room with seafaring objects like pirate hats, flags and boats. For feed cut up sandwiches to look like throwing stars and have a roast pig (or other joint of meat unless you’re vegetarian) rotating over a fire. Have a treasure hunt with a pot of chocolate gold to be found! YUM!

These are just 4 ideas that will hopefully support you out when planning your huge day. Be originative and add your own person spun and ENJOY YOURSELF!

Cuddly Cheshire

I was like a kid at Christmas opening my Wonderland plushies!
Hes even cuter than I thought he’d be. I love that his facial features are all stitching (so his precious face will be more durable) & those blue button eyes are such a great touch.
Cheshire is definately my favorite out of the four piece collection.
